My Journey

Hello my good peeps! I am back at again, and determined to get healthy again. I have been successful so many times at losing weight and keeping it off, but lately it has been a little more difficult. In December of 2015 I learned that I had hypothyroidism after never having an issue with this before, and definitely not a family history of it to my knowledge. I was a bit worried because I had read up on the issues that this disease could cause, and being that I wanted another baby I was not happy that it could cause infertility. I had to redo my blood test to check my TSH levels I was put on 50mcg of Levothyroxine, and it kept things leveled out.

After being on medicine for almost a year I was thrilled to find out that I was expecting my second child. Though it was exciting, I was still worried because there was so many things that could go wrong, but thank God all was well. We welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world, and couldn't be more happy. I only gained 9 pounds my whole pregnancy, but after my weight sky rocketed and I am back where I started after my first daughter. It has been a struggle to lose the weight this time because of my thyroid issue, but it is possible.

March 20, 2017 I am committing to working at a little each day, I have already got my food under control, but I need to get back in the grove of moving everyday; not just every other day here and there. I can and will do and to hold myself accountable I will try to blog about my progress even if it's only two words: WORKOUT DONE!!

I am going to enjoy my weekend and indulge here and there but not to much come Monday I am hitting it hard...
